Our Mission

is to promote the appreciation, education, research and growing of lavender as an agricultural crop, thereby helping to preserve the tradition and heritage of agriculture in the Northwest.

The lavender guild was founded in early 2005 to promote the growing of lavender in the Inland Northwest. The soil and climate of the area are well suited to growing lavender and the Guild hopes to encourage local farmers to consider lavender as a crop.

To join the guild, contact us at membership@northwestlavenderguild.org, or talk to our members at our monthly meeting or other event.

The first major activity of the the guild was the Lavender Festival in July 2005. Held at Mountains View Ranch near Athol, ID. The theme of the Lavender Festivals is "Lavender Fields Forever"
